I really enjoy ice cream but deep down I’m a chocolate lover at heart. My hubby and daughter on the other hand could eat their weight in ice cream on a daily basis if I let them. It doesn’t even really matter what kind of ice cream it is either. Chocolate, mint chocolate chip, cookie dough, caramel caribou, Oreo, or just plain vanilla. They have major issues I tell you, lol!
But seriously, I’m not one to talk when it comes to food addictions. I need my chocolate every day or I get super crabby and I’m not much fun to be around. I guess we all have something we battle, huh?!?
So when I first saw a recipe over at Barnes & Noodles for her Marshmallow Cream Strawberry Shake I knew that this could be a dangerous recipe for my family. But I couldn’t help myself. I knew they would love it and I have to admit this is one that I wanted to try also. It had marshmallow cream in the shake, yum!
Let’s just say that they LOVED it and I ended up making it 3 days in a row because my daughter couldn’t get enough of it. And…. she just walked behind me and saw what post I was working on and asked if I could make it again, lol!
Consider yourself warned! This recipe can be highly addictive among kids & adults 🙂
- ½ cup marshmallow cream
- ¼ cup milk
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- whipped cream
- Put milk, marshmallow cream, ice cream and frozen strawberries in a blender
- Blend until well creamy. You can add additional milk if needed to thin out if your shake is too thick
- Top with whipped cream
