CHICKEN AND  DUMPLINGS

– Shredded rotisserie chicken  – Water – Better than Bouillon Chicken – Salted butter – Carrots – Celery stalks – Yellow onions – Flour – Milk – Italian seasonings – Salt – Garlic powder – Onion powder – Bisquick

INGREDIENTS

Combine water and chicken bouillon in microwave for 3 minutes and stir. Then add carrots, celery, onion and butter and heat on medium.

STEP ONE

Stir in flour to combine. Add chicken broth and bring to boil. Add the shredded chicken, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt and milk. Stir well, turn on low to simmer.

STEP TWO

Sift Bisquick using mesh strainer. Whisk together salt, garlic powder, and  Italian seasoning.

STEP THREE

Using a small cookie dropper, or regular tablespoon measuring spoon, drop spoonfuls of dumpling mixture into the  pot.
