Banana Pudding Cookies are so incredibly soft, chewy, and melt in your mouth! They have the perfect combination of regular cookie ingredients, dry banana pudding mix, and white chocolate chips! They are kids friendly and mom approved!
This easy dessert recipe is perfect for holidays, cookie exchanges, or anytime you want a sweet and delicious cookie recipe to eat.
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED TO MAKE BANANA PUDDING COOKIES
You’ll be surprised to see just how basic and easy this recipe is. It uses a secret ingredient - Instant Banana Pudding that turns these cookies into something spectacular!
I promise you won't be disappointed with this recipe.
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- butter, 12 tbsp total
- light brown sugar
- white sugar
- instant banana cream pudding, dry mix only
- eggs
- vanilla
- baking soda
- flour
- white chocolate chips
INGREDIENT SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS
PUDDING MIX: If you aren't feeling banana cookies today then feel free to mix it up. You can make whatever flavor cookies your heart desires. Chocolate Chip Vanilla Pudding Cookies are a delicious alternative to this banana recipe!
CHOCOLATE CHIPS: This recipe uses white chocolate chips to compliment the banana flavors that run throughout the cookie, but you could always use milk chocolate instead. I haven't tried it yet so make sure to leave a comment below if you make this change. I'd love to know what you think!
HOW TO MAKE THESE EASY BANANA COOKIES
FIRST STEP: Combine the flour and baking soda in a medium mixing bowl and set aside.
SECOND STEP: In a separate large mixing bowl cream your butter and sugars together using a hand mixer.
THIRD STEP: Add in the dry pudding mix and continue to beat with the hand mixer until well blended.
FOURTH STEP: Add your eggs and vanilla and beat with the hand mixer until smooth and no lumps remain.
FIFTH STEP: Combine your wet and dry mixture, stir together with a wooden spoon. Add the white chocolate chips and gently fold together.
SIXTH STEP: Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
SEVENTH STEP: Bake these cookies at 350 degrees F for 8-9 minutes. You want to take them out of the oven before they start to brown. I've found that 8 minutes is usually perfect, 9 minutes at the most. You want these cookies slightly under-cooked.

How many cookies does this recipe make?
Hi Marianne, It's been a while since I've made this particular recipe but I believe it was just over 2 dozen.... depending on how big you make them though. I made these on the smaller side so I could send them with my hubby to work as treats;)
Shauna, these cookies sound so delicious and look fantastic! Thanks for sharing your recipe and pinned! Hope you have a happy Sunday!
Hi Shauna, Where do you get the paper that you wrapped your cookies in? So festive!
Greer
We actually picked up the paper at our local grocery store! I have seen something similar at a store called Zuchers here locally in town too. Hope that helps!
I just finished making this sugar free. My husband is a Diane and loves banana pudding they turned out great. Thank you for sharing
I'm so glad to hear that these worked out and that you guys loved them!
