HOW TO MAKE THESE BANANA COOKIES
FIRST STEP: Combine the flour and baking soda in a medium mixing bowl and set aside.
SECOND STEP: In a separate large mixing bowl cream your butter and sugars together using a hand mixer.
THIRD STEP: Add in the dry pudding mix and continue to beat with the hand mixer until well blended.
FOURTH STEP: Add your eggs and vanilla and beat with the hand mixer until smooth and no lumps remain.
FIFTH STEP: Combine your wet and dry mixture, and stir together with a wooden spoon. Add the white chocolate chips and gently fold them together.
SIXTH STEP: Roll into 1-inch balls and place on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet.
SEVENTH STEP: Bake these cookies at 350°F for 8-9 minutes. You want to take them out of the oven before they start to brown. I've found that 8 minutes is usually perfect, 9 minutes at the most. You want these cookies slightly undercooked.

Can you use self-rising flour
Layne Henderson says
Hi, Shawn - All-purpose flour would be best!
Chuck says
I wonder if you can use real bananas instead of banana pudding
Layne Henderson says
Hi, Chuck - we haven't tested it like that so I'm not sure if it would work!

not a real strong bananna flavor, just a hint - if i didn't know it was a bananna cookie don't know that i would have guessed that - which, was perfect for me as i don't care for bananna desserts... that being said, these were delicious! i couldn't get the crumbs to stay on top of the dough balls so rolled them in the crumbs and worked perfectly!

My Dad has been searching for the perfect banana cookie, so I made these for him for Veterans Day and he says they’re the best banana cookies he has ever had! I have to agree. They are amazing! Thank you for sharing.

Just made these for a family reunion but mine stayed in balls and didn’t spread like a usual cookie. I swapped the white sugar for Monkfruit, used Sugar-free pudding mix, and unsalted butter. I think next time I’ll use baking powder instead of baking soda. The recipe was easy to follow and the banana flavor is so good.
Thanks for sharing the recipe!

Add some Pecans or Walnuts and these will be even better.

Everyone at work LOVED these. I did banana pudding with choc chips and they were a big hit. This time I made strawberry pudding (yes, they make such a thing) and confetti chips and root beer pudding (who would have thunk) and white chocolate. All a huge hit. Tonight I'm going to try coconut pudding with coconut flakes instead of chocolate chips and chocolate pudding with chocolate chips. I also want to try butterscotch pudding with butterscotch chips. I don't think you can go wrong with these cookies. They are my favorite ever! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!
