Happy Tuesday from Mommy on Demand!! The first time I ever had Shepard’s Pie is when I was living with my best friends/room mates in college. I have never heard of it before and it was something I never tried when I was younger…or at least from what I remember. Well this recipe quickly became one of my favorite recipes and it still brings back great memories. With the temperatures dropping in Utah so quickly I have always looked forward to making comfort foods and this is definitely on my list! It’s the perfect ratio of vegetables and meat with nice tomato sauce. I have a very picky 15 month old little boy and its hard for me to get to him to eat anything at all. But when we first tried this recipe he could not get enough. I even contemplated on making a small batch in put in some muffin tins and freeze to have on hand for him to eat.
