As a child, I’m sure that most of us had a small, round, green… thing put on our plate, and just by looking at it, we knew that it was going to be gross. (And for most, it really was and still is.) As an adult, we now know these as brussel sprouts. For those of you who still don’t like them or have some picky eaters of your own at home now, you might want to try these Garlic Roasted Brussel Sprouts from The Slow Roasted Italian. You’d be surprised how roasting them in the oven with red onion, garlic, olive oil, and salt and pepper really changes the flavor to a delicious vegetable that even those who refuse to eat greens won’t be able to get enough of!
