BANANA UPSIDE  DOWN CAKE

– Brown sugar – Salted butter – Bananas – All-purpose flour – Baking soda – Baking powder – Salt – Ground cinnamon – Granulated sugar – Buttermilk – Vanilla extract – Oil – Eggs

INGREDIENTS

Mix brown sugar and butter in a bowl. Spread evenly with plastic spatula. Place bananas slices on top of sugar mixture.

STEP ONE

Whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, pinch of salt, and ground cinnamon.

STEP TWO

Mix in a bowl add brown sugar, sugar, mashed banana, buttermilk, vanilla extract, oil, and eggs. Use a hand mixer to beat and combine.

STEP THREE

Add half of dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix with a spoon. Add the remaining dry ingredients and mix.

STEP FOUR

Pour batter over the top of the sliced bananas. Spread evenly in the pan.

STEP FIVE

Bake for 45 minutes. Check with a toothpick to see if cake is done. If the toothpick doesn't come out clean, bake for 3 more minutes.

STEP SIX

Let cool down for 5-7 minutes then flip the cake over so bananas are on top.

STEP SEVEN

Serve warm and enjoy!
