– Salted butter – Yellow onion – All-purpose flour – Sea salt – White pepper – Heavy cream – Whole milk – Granulated sugar – Frozen whole kernel corn (white or yellow) – Parmesan cheese – Fresh thyme

INGREDIENTS

In a skillet saute onions until onions become translucent.

STEP ONE

Add flour, salt, and white pepper to the pan and brown for 1 minute.

STEP TWO

Whisk cream, milk, and sugar into onion mixture until smooth.

STEP THREE

Add frozen corn and bring to a simmer. Stir regularly until mixutre thicken.

STEP FOUR

Remove 1 cup of the corn mixture and puree. Return the puree to the pan and stir to distribute evenly.

STEP FIVE

Stir in parmesan cheese and remove from heat.
