TWIX COOKIES
– Unsalted butter – Cream cheese – Sugar – Egg – Vanilla – Flour – Salt – Baking soda – Caramel cubes – Heavy cream – Milk chocolate chips
INGREDIENTS
In a bowl beat butter and cream until smooth.
STEP ONE
Add sugar, egg, and vanilla. Beat until fluffy.
STEP TWO
In another bowl stir together flour, salt, and baking soda.
STEP THREE
Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and beat until well mixed.
STEP FOUR
Scoop out cookies in 1.5 tbsp size then flatten with your hands into a patty.
STEP FIVE
Place unbaked cookies 2 inches apart on parchment covered baking sheets.
STEP SIX
Bake for 9 to 12 minutes until cookies no longer look wet on top. Let cool while you make the caramel.
STEP SEVEN
Place unwrapped caramels and 2 tablespoons heavy cream in a glass bowl and place in microwave for 30 seconds.
STEP EIGHT
Remove from microwave and stir. Then put back into microwave for 30 seconds and stir until caramels are completely melted.
STEP NINE
Drop the caramel on the top middle of each cookie then spread with a spoon. Then let chill in the fridge.
STEP TEN
Heat heavy cream in microwave for 30 to 45 seconds. Remove from the microwave and add milk chocolate chips, wait 5 minutes before stirring.
STEP ELEVEN
Use a spoon to drop melted chocolate onto the top middle of each cookie and spread.
STEP TWELVE
Chill cookies in fridge until chocolate is completely set. Serve and enjoy!
