Soft and tender, Beer Bread is an easy way to make delicious homemade bread without yeast. Beer bread is an easy quick bread that has a delicious buttery crust.
Butter or spray the inside of a 9x5-inch loaf pan and set aside.
Sift flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar into a large mixing bowl.
Pour the beer into the bowl with dry ingredients. Stir to combine. The mixture will be sticky.
Transfer the bread mixture to the loaf pan. Use a spoon to spread the bread mixture out to the edges while leaving it somewhat uneven on the top to give it a more rustic look when it’s done cooking.
Pour the melted butter over the bread mixture and place it in the preheated oven.
