– French or Italian bread – Eggs – Whole milk – Sugar – Light brown sugar – Vanilla – Nutmeg – Cinnamon – Butter – Heavy cream

INGREDIENTS

Spread the cubed bread  in baking dish.

STEP ONE

Whisk together the eggs, milk, both sugars, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

STEP TWO

Pour the egg mixture over the bread cubes. Drizzle melted butter on top and bake for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

STEP THREE

Combine the light brown sugar, heavy cream, and butter. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes.

STEP FOUR

Pour the caramel sauce over the bread pudding. Serve while warm.
