Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter room temperature
  • 2 teaspoons adobo sauce
  • 1 small chipotle chopped
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • 2 green onions green parts only, chopped
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese more if desired
  • 1 loaf French bread
  • fresh cilantro

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine butter, adobo sauce, chipotle, garlic powder and green onions.
  2. Slice the loaf of bread in half and spread the butter on both pieces.
  3. Evenly sprinkle the cheese over both slices of bread.
  4. Place on a baking sheet and bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh cilantro.
