To soften the cream cheese, leave it out at room temperature for 30 minutes.
In a small bowl, add softened cream cheese, dry seasoning mix, and sour cream.
Stir together until well combined.
Cover with food-safe plastic wrap and refrigerate for two hours before serving.
Notes
Plan a little bit ahead and get the cream cheese and sour cream out of the fridge at least 30 minutes before you use them for this recipe.
It’s not best to microwave cream cheese to soften it because it will burn incredibly easily and usually over-softens in some spots while remaining firm in others.
