1slicefresh peachto garnish the edge of your glass
Instructions
Fill a lowball (12-ounce capacity) cocktail glass with ice cubes (approximately 1 cup).
To the ice-filled glass, layer in the orange juice, peach schnapps, and silver rum.
Top it with the cranberry juice cocktail. Be sure to pour slowly to create a slightly layered look for your drink.
Garnish the rim of your glass with a fresh peach slice.
Notes
I like using fresh orange juice that is pulp-free when making drinks like this peach cocktail. The “from concentrate” versions or a “lite” version don’t yield the same delicious results as good quality fresh orange juice.
If you want to know how much liquid (or the capacity) your glass will hold, fill it with water, then pour that water into a liquid measuring glass. This will tell you how many ounces/cups your glass can hold. Remember that you need to account for any ice you add to your glass if you are trying to figure out if your glass will work for your drink recipe. Lowball glasses can come in a range of sizes, so it is important that you have a glass that will work with the drink recipe.
This summer cocktail should be gently stirred before serving for the best results.
