This easy, delicious hoisin chicken recipe is the best in Asian inspired cuisine! The chicken is so moist, juicy and will leave your house smelling amazing. This is an easy to make recipe perfect for any weeknight dinner!
Remove the skin from each piece of chicken and season with salt and pepper. Place on a baking sheet lined with foil or parchment paper.
In a small bowl, mix together hoisin sauce, barbeque sauce, garlic and ginger powder.
Brush half of the sauce over both sides of the chicken and lay the chicken meaty side down on the baking sheet.
Place in a preheated 425 degree oven for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, remove pan from the oven and flip chicken over. Brush the rest of the sauce over the chicken and place back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165.
When the chicken is completely cooked through, remove from oven and garnish with chopped green onion.

You can also make hoisin chicken on the grill! To start, remove the skin from each piece of chicken and season with salt and pepper.Grill over medium heat until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees, approximately 30-40 minutes. You'll only want to flip the chicken once.In a small bowl, mix together hoisin sauce, barbeque sauce, garlic and ginger powder.When you remove the chicken from the grill, brush the marinade all over and then garnish with chopped green onion.I don't suggest adding the marinade before grilling because of the sugar content.
