Broccoli Cauliflower Salad
Table of Contents
Foodies and busy moms are going to love the new discovery I’ve found! It simplifies grocery shopping so you can get on with the main events: creating and devouring those new recipes. Let me explain.
The catalog of awesome recipes we showcase is the main reason you love this site. And you pin a ton of recipes you want to try to your Pinterest board, right?
Before you take off for the grocery store, you’ve got to make a list of all the ingredients for that new dish. Or worse, you get to the store and realize you forgot to write down all the ingredients.
Now you can use the new iOS app called Board to Table at Kroger. In one swipe, it allows you to move all (or some) of the ingredients from your favorite recipe pins to your shopping list. Board to Table is a new app in customer trial mode. Only a limited number of customers will be able to download it, so act now!
How to feel brilliant!
Of course you must have iOS to use Board to Table. Both Pinterest and the Kroger app must be installed on your phone and you’ve got to be logged in to both for this to work. But that’s easy. Just note, if you have a lot of Pinterest pins, it might take a few minutes for all of them to load.
Also, Board to Table reads “rich” or “smart” pins so the recipe ingredients must be on the Pinterest pin, without the need to click through to the blog.
That’s all there is to it. Life. Simplified.
Foodies, rejoice!
Here’s a recipe to try it out on. Classic broccoli and cauliflower salad is a delicious way to get your cruciferous veggies. Broccoli and cauliflower are good sources of vitamin C (and broccoli contains a good amount of vitamin A too). You’ll also get calcium, folic acid, and iron in broccoli, while cauliflower delivers potassium.
Simplified shopping and eating plus all those healthy benefits sounds like a great plan to this busy mom!
