Want another twist on this Dill Pickle Dip? You can easily transform this from a dip to a cheese ball! Follow the recipe as directed, but instead of transferring the dip into a serving bowl, place the mixture onto a sheet of plastic wrap, then shape the mixture into a ball and wrap the plastic tightly around it. Refrigerate the ball for at least an hour, or until it’s set. It’s then ready to be placed on a serving dish to enjoy!
While we recommend serving this dip with your favorite butter crackers or Triscuits, it’s perfect for your favorite veggies or pita chips, or even served with these mouth-watering Cucumber Bites, or as a spread for some tasty sliders!
How to Make Dill Pickle Dip
FIRST STEP: In a large bowl, beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and ranch seasoning until smooth.
SECOND STEP: Use a rubber spatula to stir in the chopped ham, sliced green onions, and chopped pickles.

THIRD STEP: Transfer to a serving bowl and top with a few chopped pickles and green onion slices.
FOURTH STEP: Serve with butter crackers (Ritz) or Triscuits
How do I soften the cream cheese?
Leave the cream cheese covered on the counter until it reached room temperature. Or you can leave the cream cheese in its foil container, and place the contents in a bowl of warm water, making sure to flip every few minutes until it's soft.
What kind of pickle should I use?
We prefer dill pickles, but whatever your favorite type of pickle will work perfectly in this recipe. Sweet, Sour, Bread and Butter, or even a mixture will be ideal for this tangy treat.
