How to Make Chicken Parmesan Pasta
Here's what you'll need to get started:
- chicken breasts, diced into bite sized pieces
- Italian seasoning
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- garlic salt
- yellow onion, finely minced
- garlic paste
- dried rigatoni pasta
- Ragu Old World Traditional Pasta Sauce
- chicken stock
- mozzarella cheese, shredded
- Parmesan cheese, shredded
- salt & pepper , to taste
- fresh parsley, finely chopped
How to make One Pot Pasta
FIRST STEP: In a dutch oven over medium heat add olive oil, bite sized chicken pieces, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and garlic salt. Stir to combine. Cook until chicken is most of the way cooked through.
SECOND STEP: Add onion and garlic paste. Stir to combine. Let cook fro 5-7 minutes, or until onions are soft and translucent.
THIRD STEP: Pour in pasta sauce and chicken broth. Add rigatoni pasta. Stir to combine. Cover and let cook on a low simmer for 12-14 minutes, or until pasta is done.
FOURTH STEP: Add ½ cup mozzarella cheese and stir. Top the pasta with the remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese, cover and let melt. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve!
Ingredient Substitutions and Additions
MEAT: While this recipe calls for chicken breast that is uncooked, you could easily skip the step that cooks the chicken and substitute a rotisserie chicken instead.
CHICKEN STOCK: If you don't have chicken stock on hand you could use plain water, or chicken bouillon cubes + water instead.
PARSLEY: Dried parsley works on the top of this pasta as a garnish if you don't have fresh in your refrigerator.

Ingredients

- 16 ounces dried rigatoni pasta
- 1 24 ounce jar Ragu Old World Traditional Pasta Sauce
- 24 ounces chicken stock
- 1 ½ cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
- ½ cup Parmesan cheese (shredded)
- salt & pepper (to taste)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (finely chopped)
DIRECTIONS
