How to Make Air Fryer Cinnamon Rolls
FIRST STEP: Line the basket of your air fryer with a piece of parchment paper that is cut to fit. You do not need any cooking oil sprayed into the basket. The cinnamon rolls will not stick to the parchment paper.
SECOND STEP: Open your tube of cinnamon rolls, set your container of icing to the side, and pull apart the cinnamon rolls. Place the rolls into the parchment-lined air fryer basket leaving a little space between each roll.
THIRD STEP: Set your air fryer temperature to 330°F and your timer to 17 minutes. DO NOT PREHEAT your air fryer.
FOURTH STEP: Cook the cinnamon rolls for 9 minutes, carefully flip them over using a spatula or tongs, then cook for another 6 to 8 minutes. You will want to check them at the 6-minute mark to ensure they are not over-browning.
FIFTH STEP: Carefully remove the cinnamon rolls and place them onto a serving plate.
SIXTH STEP: In a small bowl, with a handheld mixer on medium, beat together the softened cream cheese, salt, and the reserved container of icing that comes with the cinnamon rolls. Beat for 30 seconds to 1 minute or until smooth and fluffy.
SEVENTH STEP: Divide the cream cheese icing evenly between the cinnamon rolls. I like to spread the icing just barely to the edges of each cinnamon roll so that it does not run down the sides of the warm rolls.
EIGHTH STEP: You can sprinkle a pinch of ground cinnamon onto the tops of each cinnamon roll for added flavor and garnish.
