Pepperoni Rolls Ingredients
- Pizza dough
- Pepperoni slices
- Mozzarella cheese
- Butter
- Basil
- Garlic powder
- Parmesan cheese
- Parsley
- Marinara sauce
This pepperoni pizza roll recipe calls for premade pizza dough which you can find canned at the grocery store. However, you could make the dough from scratch or use a mix. Frozen rolls, canned crescents, or even buttery biscuits would be scrumptious as well.
Picking quality pepperoni will take these pizza rolls to the next level. Select your favorite pepperoni or even spicy soppressata to give the pizza rolls an extra kick. Then, which dipping sauce will you choose? Pasta sauce or marinara? Or even ranch or alfredo?
How to Make Pepperoni Rolls
FIRST STEP: Preheat the oven to 375º. Spray a pie pan or round baking dish with cooking spray. Set aside.
SECOND STEP: Roll out the pizza dough into a rectangle approximately ¼ inch thick. (There may be no need to do this. The dough comes out of the can quite thin.) Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough (width-wise) into 11 or 12 equal strips.
THIRD STEP: Place a single layer of pepperoni on each strip of dough and top with 2 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese.
FOURTH STEP: Roll each strip of dough, cinnamon roll style, and place into the prepared pie pan, seam side down (the filling is not facing up). The rolls can be placed right next to each other.

FIFTH STEP: Brush the pizza rolls with the melted butter. Sprinkle with basil, garlic powder, and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle the parsley on top.
SIXTH STEP: Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with pasta sauce or marinara for dipping.
Cooking Tips
Mix the seasonings before sprinkling on the rolls so the topping is even.
These pizza rolls can be frozen, fully baked and cooled, and reheated in the oven for a snack later.
Mozzarella is the classic pair to pepperoni, but you can use any cheese you like.
Sliced cheese would roll up well in this recipe.
