This Stuffed Pepperoni Pizza Crescent Rolls Recipe is a kid friendly appetizer or after school snack that is not only easy to make, but it tastes amazing too!
With easy ingredients and it's quick cook time, this recipe is sure to be a new family favorite!
WHAT INGREDIENTS DO YOU NEED TO STUFFED PEPPERONI PIZZA CRESCENT ROLLS
You're going to be surprised to see just how basic and easy this recipe is. These stuffed rolls only use 6 ingredients total, and with bake time can be on the table in just 20 minutes start to finish!
Here’s what you’ll need to get started:
- crescent rolls
- mini pepperoni
- mozarella cheese, shredded
- butter, melted
- garlic salt
- chives, chopped

INGREDIENT SUBSTITUTIONS AND ADDITIONS
MEAT: While this recipe calls for mini pepperoni don't feel limited to just this one ingredient. Change it up by adding cooked sausage, shredded chicken, Canadian bacon, and ham to your stuffed rolls.
CHEESE: While my favorite go to cheese for pizza is mozzarella, you could easily swap out cheddar, parmesan, monterey jack, or even colby jack cheese.
VEGETABLES: Since this recipe has limited cook time I suggest keeping the vegetables to a minimum. Sliced olives and green onions work well in this recipe.
HOW TO MAKE THESE PEPPERONI PIZZA ROLLS
FIRST STEP: Separate your crescent rolls into individual triangles and lay on your baking sheet lined with a silicone mat or parchment paper (not required but it helps them not burn on the bottom).
SECOND STEP: Add your favorite toppings to the wide end and top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
THIRD STEP: Fold the ends inwards to keep your toppings in place and roll shut.
FOURTH STEP: Bake at 375° for 12-14 minutes. They are done when the tops are a nice golden brown color.
FIFTH STEP: Remove from the oven and brush with melted butter. Sprinkle garlic salt over the top and serve with your favorite dipping sauce!

Do you use shredded cheese or string cheese? Recipe says shredded but all the pictures show string cheese.
Shauna says
Either one works! The shredded mozzarella usually melts better so that's what we recommend but if you are trying to make it quicker or use what you have on hand, string cheese is definitely an option!

Can I use pizza dough instead of crescent roll??
Shauna | The Best Blog Recipes says
Gosh, I don't know Safia. Pizza dough is heavier than a crescent roll. I think it also would puff up a lot more than a crescent roll would so... I don't think it would work. If you do end up trying it let me know how it works 🙂

can these be prepped ahead and how far ahead
Shauna | The Best Blog Recipes says
Yes they totally can. I think you could prep them a day or two ahead and store them in the fridge or even a week or two and store them in the freezer. When you are ready to eat them, let them warm up to room temperature and then stick them in the oven for a minute or two to make them nice and crispy again!

I can just imagine biting into one of these right now. What a creative idea. I would never have thought of stuffing crescent rolls. Your pictures are amazing too.
