- Heavy whipping cream cold
- Granulated sugar

- Birthday sprinkles
If there isn’t any cake mix, what is in birthday cake ice cream? The base of this no-churn ice cream is sweetened condensed milk. To that base is added frosting and sprinkles which not only give it a satisfying crunch but also create the taste of birthday cake batter that's even better than Blue Bell birthday cake ice cream. Cool and creamy, it tastes just like licking the bowl after making cake batter.
Sweetened condensed milk is essentially milk and sugar, which work together to give the ice cream its creamy and smooth consistency, and is the secret to great no-churn ice cream. Just make sure not to confuse sweetened condensed milk with evaporated milk.
Scoop up your ice cream and serve it in bowls, cones, or straight from the pan with a spoon. No-churn ice cream does tend to be softer than traditional ice cream and melts quickly, so don’t leave your ice cream out on the counter for too long.

SEVENTH STEP: Using a knife, drag frosting through the ice cream mix, making a swirl pattern.
EIGHTH STEP: Using a clean knife, scoop out additional frosting and smooth it on top of the ice cream.
NINTH STEP: Continue until you’re pleased with how it looks. You can also swirl in sprinkles with the frosting as well.
TENTH STEP: Embellish with sprinkles and freeze for 3+ hours.
Cooking Tips
Chill the sweetened condensed milk, heavy whipping cream, and loaf tin in the fridge before you start to make freezing your ice cream easier. Use a metal or glass bowl to whip your cream.
Change the color of the ice cream by changing the color of the frosting. You can match your ice cream color to your party decorations or even make rainbow ice cream. You can also try different sizes and types of sprinkles.
If you want to make a vegan version of the ice cream you will need coconut milk and coconut cream, which are two different ingredients.
