Pro Tip
It’s highly recommended to make this dessert a day ahead of time and refrigerate it overnight. This will allow it to thicken and make it easier to cut into slices.
FIRST STEP: In a small bowl, combine the 1¾ cups graham cracker crumbs, ½ cup plus 1 tablespoon of melted butter, and 1 tablespoon of sugar.

SECOND STEP: Lightly spray an 8×8-inch baking pan, metal or glass is fine. Press the graham cracker mixture into the bottom of the baking dish.

THIRD STEP: Preheat the oven to 325°F and bake for ten minutes. Allow the crust to cool completely.

Absolutely delicious! Pineapple is one of my favorite foods... I love just about anything with it in it, and THIS is one of the best recipes with pineapple in it I've ever seen! I wanted to let you know too that there's a wee boo-boo in the recipe... where it gives the measurement of "1/2 cup of butter, softened", it says "1/2 cup tablespoons butter, softened"... just FYI.
Thanks again for this divine dessert! 😍
