How to Make Birthday Cake Delight
Follow along with our step-by-step photos to make this fun and easy birthday dessert. Check out the tips and tricks below to help you every step of the way. Let’s get started!
Pro Tip
It’s highly recommended to make this dessert a day ahead of time and refrigerate it overnight. This will allow it to thicken and makes it easier to cut into slices.
FIRST STEP: In the large bowl of a food processor, crush the vanilla sandwich cookies until small, even crumbs form. Add the melted butter and pulse until combined.

SECOND STEP: Press the cookie/butter mixture into an 8×8 greased baking dish and place in the freezer for ten minutes to chill while preparing the next layer.
THIRD STEP: With a hand mixer or in the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and one cup of frozen whipped topping until smooth and creamy (about five minutes).
Add in the sprinkles and stir just until combined.
Pro Tip
Make sure your cream cheese is room temperature so that you don’t have lumps in this layer.
Some types of sprinkles have the color “painted” on and will bleed. If you are concerned about bleeding, test your sprinkles before stirring them in.
FOURTH STEP: Spread the cream cheese mixture over the chilled cookie crumb layer and place it back into the freezer for another ten minutes.

FIFTH STEP: With a whisk or beater, combine both packages of pudding mix, milk, and one cup of frozen whipped topping.
Whisk until combined and the mixture begins to thicken.
SIXTH STEP: Spread the pudding layer over the chilled cream cheese layer and chill for 30 minutes or until the pudding is set.

SEVENTH STEP: Gently top with whipped topping, creating swoops with the back of a spoon or spatula (you may have leftover whipped topping).
Top with more sprinkles. Chill until ready to serve.

I made this cake for the first time last night using white chocolate pudding for a coworker's birthday... It is DELICIOUS!! Everyone is asking for the recipe! I made it in a disposable pan. I did need to discard a little of the cream cheese mixture so there would be enough room in the pan for the other layers. I also used 1 3/4 cup of milk as a tactic to have a little less due to pan size. I will definitely make this again and I plan to use a 9X13 pan and maybe use 3 boxes of pudding.
